  1. Memories of a person, especially a special person, is like retrieving a box from the attic and recovering treasures chosen to be remembered. I think of the many waitresses around town who knew just how Ken preferred his tea and toast and always paused longer to share the banter. I am certain it was someone very much ...like Ken who inspired the song For He's A Jolly Good Fellow. I will enjoy reading the memories of those he touched with his grace.

  2. Ken was a wonderful person and a huge inspiration in my life. He was a person that impacted my life from the first moment I met him. I hired Ken at IPI roughly 5 years ago. When I was brought back to MIS I made sure to bring Ken with me because of his will to work hard every day and treat everyone around him fairly. Ken was so influential that his saying “cheers” had everyone in the office saying it every day. I still use cheers to this day. His work ethic is second to none, even with the cancer. Ken had a lasting impact on my life and I never got to thank him. “Ken, thank you for all your kindness from the moment I met you. You are an important person in my life and will continue to be even though you’re in heaven. You will never be forgotten. Cheers my good friend.”

    Sincerely, Tom W

  3. Ken was a friend and colleague. I will miss his daily jokes and emails that always provided a much needed chuckle. He was a fiesty Brit with a wonderful sense of humor.
I will miss his yearly July 4th photo in which he would display his British flag and
    dress up in British garb.

Ken will be missed terribly by all of us at Millennium. We will never be able to replace his knowledge and willingness to help anyone.

My thoughts and prayers are with you Doreen and with your family.

  4. Ken was a wonderful person and I will miss him very much. I enjoyed working with Ken these past few years and loved listening to his accent, especially when he left his voice messages. Ken was very supportive and kind to me when my husband passed away earlier this year, and I will never forget him. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

  5. I will always remember Ken, he was so fun to talk to, whenever we spoke on the phone he would always end the converesation with me laughing and that would truly ease the rest of my day. Whenever he came to the office, he would stop by and see me and again would leave me laughing. Ken you will be missed but not
    forgotten. Jo Ann Lyas

  6. Ken was our wonderful neighbor and friend for many years. He always had time to meet at the fence and most always left us laughing at some crazy joke or story. He loved our children and enjoyed talking with them. We will miss his e-mails,his crazy Brit outfit and so much more. But, mostly we will miss him at the fence and in our hearts.
Our thoughs and love are with you Doreen.

  7. FIRST, WE WOULD LIKE TO EXPRESS OUR DEEPEST & SINCERE SYMPATHY TO THE FAMILY OF KEN. HE WILL TRULY BE MISSED AND ALWAYS REMEMBERED. I REMEMBER THE FIRST TIME I MET KEN, AT THE COMPANY HOLIDAY PARTY AND HE INTRODUCED HIMSELF TO ME, TELLING ME HOW HE HAD HEARD SO MANY GOOD THINGS ABOUT ME AND THAT JUST MADE MY DAY, AFTER OUR CONVERSATION, I COULD NOT WAIT TO GET HOME AND TELL MY WIFE ABOUT HIM AND HIS BRIT ACCENT. I LOOKED FORWARD TALKING WITH HIM OVER THE YEARS, HE WAS A VERY NICE PERSON WITH A GOOD HEART.

THERE ARE NO WORDS THAT CAN EXPRESS HOW WE FEEL ABOUT THE LOSS OF KEN, JUST THAT WE LOVED HIM, BUT GOD LOVED HIM BEST!

MAY GOD BE THE STRENGTH THAT YOUR FAMILY WILL NEED TO HELP YOU AND YOUR FAMILY THROUGH THIS GREAT LOSS.

WE WILL ALL MISS HIM, BUT, NEVER FORGET HIM!

  8. Ken was a Great friend. I will miss the talks we had almost everyday. Every time Ken would come into the office he always had a smile on his face. He was also a very proud family man; he would always show me pictures of the new additions in his family.

I have some many fond memories of Ken. I will share a couple with you. Ken and I clinked so much in the beginning, that I asked him if he could do the impersonation of Austin Powers, and he was happy to do it. He would also leave me a VM with “Get in my Belly”, from Austin Powers. No matter how bad of a day I had, he always made me laugh. The other one was when he got the cops called on him for the 4th of July. He was never too proud to show his pride for his country.

My dear Brit friend you will be missed deeply by all. Till our roads cross again.

    BROKEN CHAIN
“Little knew that morning that God was going to call your name. In life we loved you
dearly, in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone; for
part of us went with you the day God called you home. You left us peaceful memories,
your love is still our guide, and though we cannot see you, you are always by our side.
Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one,
    the chain will link again.”

  9. Ken was my friend and mentor. He taught me more then he will ever know. When I would introduce him to people I would tell them that they had to listen closely because he was British and that it would give them a chance to practice their english. He always got a chuckle out of that. I will miss him greatly.

  10. I am one of the field inspectors that Ken trained. I wanted to say that he was the kindest, most patient trainer I have ever had. This was during both the "live" training and any e-mails I would send. He never made you feel like you were bothering him. I was wondering why we hadn't heard more from him lately. I am so sorry for your lose. P.S. I loved his accent! :)

  11. I'm one of Ken's trainee's as well. As Rexxd stated he was one of the most patient trainers that I've ever had. He was always there when I needed him and for that I will always be grateful.
